Christopher M. West
Christopher (Chris) West was raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where his father served in the United States Air Force. Chris received his undergraduate degree from East Carolina University in 1994. He then attended Virginia Commonwealth University where he received a Master of Public Administration degree in 1996. Chris graduated from Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law in 2000. In law school, he was a member of the National Trial Moot Court Team and the National Appellate Moot Court Team. Upon graduation he was named to the Order of Barristers.
Prior to joining White and Stradley, PLLC, Chris worked for many years representing insurance companies in Workers’ Compensation claims and medical malpractice cases. In 2010 he was named as a Rising Star in the Super Lawyers magazine. Chris has represented clients in the Industrial Commission, District Court, Superior Court and the Court of Appeals.
Chris has been a speaker on topics including litigation, representation of clients and Workers’ Compensation claims.
After representing the insurance companies for several years, Chris decided to take what he had learned and use it to represent injured individuals. His practice now concentrates on representing individuals that have been hurt at work.
Chris is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association, North Carolina State Bar, Wake County Bar Association, and North Carolina Advocates for Justice.
